Fusion Strengthens Student Clinical Affiliation Program
Fusion Physical Therapy Partners Strengthens Student Clinical Affiliation Program
Boston, MA — December 2, 2025 — Fusion Physical Therapy Partners is proud to announce the continued growth of its Student Clinical Affiliation Program, which has hosted more than 50 PT, PTA, OT, and SLP students over the past two years—providing hands-on learning across diverse clinic settings throughout New Hampshire, Cape Cod, and the Greater Boston Metro region, including placements at Fusion partner brands such as CPTE, Sport & Spine Physical Therapy, Engage Senior Therapy, Downtown Physical Therapy and Rehab, and OSPT of Cape Cod. As part of this expansion, Clinical Excellence Coordinator Stacie Towle, PT, DPT, will now oversee CI training and the clinical quality of all student rotations, ensuring a consistent and meaningful learning experience across the network.
Fusion’s affiliation program is designed to support the next generation of clinicians by providing real-world exposure to high-quality patient care. Students rotate through outpatient orthopedic clinics, gaining experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports medicine, post-surgical care, vestibular and balance work, and women’s health. They also have opportunities within senior therapy settings in assisted living and memory care communities, where they develop skills in functional mobility, ADLs, fall prevention, and movement disorder programming.
Across every setting, students are encouraged to participate fully in patient care and clinical decision-making under the guidance of experienced Clinical Instructors. In addition to clinical training, Fusion enhances the student experience through educational touchpoints such as lunch-and-learns and a student ambassador program that helps foster mentorship and professional development.
“I’m so excited to take on this expanded role and support our Clinical Instructors as we continue to strengthen Fusion’s student experience,” said Stacie Towle. “Training our CIs, creating consistency, and giving students the best possible rotation is something I care deeply about. Our clinicians are always eager to give back—this program brings out the best in them, and it’s inspiring to be part of it.”
Fusion partners with a broad and growing network of PT, PTA, OT, and SLP programs—including leading institutions across New England and beyond. These partnerships allow schools to place students within any Fusion outpatient clinic, senior community location, or partner brand, giving learners access to diverse patient populations, strong mentorship, and a unified standard of excellence.
Fusion’s goal is to ensure every student completes their rotation feeling supported, inspired, and well-prepared to deliver exceptional patient care—wherever their career leads next.
